THE AUTHOR
Charles S. Opalek, PE

EDUCATION:
Tandon School of Engineering of NYU (formerly the Polytechnic Institute of Brooklyn), BSME 1965.

LICENSES AND REGISTRATIONS:
Professional Engineer Arizona, Delaware, New Jersey, Pennsylvania.

EXPERIENCE SUMMARY:

Charlie has decades of engineering experience beginning his career with being in responsible charge for the installation and operation of Lunar Module, Environmental Control Subsystem, Ground Support Equipment at Launch Complexes 37B and 39B at the Kennedy Space Center FL. This was followed by brief stays in aerospace manufacturing and boiler field service. Afterwards, he accrued over 13 years of power plant engineering experience at an electric utility, a petrochemical engineering firm, and a power plant engineering firm.

For the last 30 years he has been in private practice serving architects, contractors, owners, developers and other engineering companies with mechanical and electrical consulting on commercial, industrial, institutional and residential projects.

His vast multi-discipline, technical experience provides an uncommon perspective on how the Earth's systems of air and water, acted on by conduction, convection, radiation, diffusion, and gravitation forge the world's climate.
Mr. Opalek derives all his livelihod as a private mechanical and electrical consultant.  He does not received, nor want any, support from Big Oil, or any other special interest.  His only mission is to gather historical scientific evidence to demonstrate that what we are seeing today as climate change is nothing compared to what has happened in the past or what is going to happen in the future.
